The following is a rare little treat! A sneak peek in to the before and after wedding and portrait photography that I do. I take great pride in making my pictures vibrant and occasionally with a vintage flare to the individual tastes of my clients. Not only do you receive many many images with the session or wedding photography package that you choose, but you have your own personal online gallery to view your images and request changes specifically to pictures if you would like. I care about what you want, what you would be proud to share with friends and family and to display in your home or on Facebook and other social media.

Spring time is coming and along with it spring showers! We don't always know when they will decide to appear, and sometimes it might start sprinkling undesirability so for a part of our session. In this portrait above the last few minutes of our session decided to drizzle. While some times we simply just roll with it and pull out the umbrella and click of our heals as I will photograph a couple in love in the rain, sometimes it doesn't meet what we want. The answer, a little Photoshop.

Rain, clouds, hot sun, pouring wet snow, blustery wind... And each type of day brings its own unique look.

For example, children and newborns tend to require a little more attention. While I do not make my subjects look like plastic, I do take away those little skin irritations such as rashes, dry skin etc, to help focus the attention to those adorable sparkly eyes and little sweet smile!

Some of my edits are a bit more dramatic than others, but given the photo and circumstance, I will make changes as I am able to. I mentioned before certain weather conditions, and while an overcast day will create a simple clean light for much of the day, sometimes I might add a touch more color:)
