One of my favorite wedding traditions is the cake dance. For this tradition, the groom has to earn his right to take the knife to cut the cake by shelling out money to the bridesmaids who tease him as they dance about with the knife until they feel they have earned enough to hand it over. It is a fun transition into the cake cutting.
