A look back at our fun trip up Mt Evans!  It was not quite the adventure as climbing up Mt. Elbert, which half frightened me to death.  Matt keeps giving me the pat on the back for that one, reminding me I took something off my bucket list, being the tallest mountain in Colorado...

Anyway, back to Mt. Evans!  This dry was terrifying!  I spent most of it clenched and reminding Matt to take it easy etc.  I felt like Lucille Ball from the mountain drive they take together in the move The Long Long Trailer.  Definite date night movie if you want to snuggle up at home and enjoy a classic.

Once we did make it to the top, it was REALLY cold!  And we made stops along the way so I felt I had enough adventure out of my system.  But I was entertained to see many mountain goats hang out up and there and to also see them "admire" someone's motorcycle.  Not an everyday sight.
