FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How do I book a session?
A: To book, follow this link and choose the date, time and location of your choice.
Q: How long will it take to receive my digital photos?
A: You will receive your images edited and ready to download via email in 14 days or less. Rush fees are available for sessions for $100. With the rush fee, you will have your images back in 48 hours or less.
Q: What resolution are my images provided in? Will I be able to download them?
A: Your images are provided to you in the highest resolution. And yes! You can download them. You will be free to use your images as you like.
Q: What if none of these dates work for me?
A: If none of these dates work for you, please email me at rebecca@effervescentmediaworks.com to schedule a private full session. Full sessions are 60-90 minutes long and include 45+ fine-tuned edited images in an online gallery in high resolution for $350. You may choose a location anywhere in the bay area.
Q: What should I wear during my session?
A: When it comes to figuring out what to wear or family pictures, this can be major stress! I have created this blog post to help with just that. But here are a few quick pointers.
- - Stay comfortable, but not too casual, consider weather and that we will be actively doing fun things during the session.
- - Stay away from matchy-matchy
- - Stick to neutrals with just a pop of color
- - Stick to 2-3 colors tops or it will be too much to look at.
- - Go for various shades within your color selections
- - Beware of busy patterns. Solids in a variety of textures and fabrics are best
- - Match your season and setting (kids can't fake the cold or heat!)
- - For evening sessions bring bug spray
Q: How should I prep for my mini session?
A: Fill those little tummies before the session! And bring a little snack, treat and an extra bottle. Prepare those things in advance. Prepare your little ones with positivity before the session! Stress is contagious in different forms. And last but not least, do not overload your day! Birthday parties and other special events right before your session will drain the children's energy and likely be too much! So be sure to leave some buffer time around the session so we can work with the best energy.
Q: What if it rains or the air quality be too poor to work with (wildfires)?
A: Should it rain or other conditions form, sessions will be moved to a different/backup location and date. You will be given the option at that time to accept that plan B, or cancel your session at that time.
Q: Are these mini sessions only available for families?
A: No way! Sessions are for UP to five individuals. Additional persons may be added on for $20 each.
