I had a lot of fun preparing some cute things for dressing this shoot. On Saturday I met Sarah and Ryan at Miller Park to capture some cute engagements. Although it isn't completely green out yet, we were able to find some green grassy spots for out little picnic:) I always recommend on bringing more than one outfit for the added fun variety!







It started to sprinkle a little toward the second part of our session but luckily I had my fun pink striped umbrella which actually matched Sarah's scarf:) I love shooting in a variety of weather.  Each type of weather brings its own added touch, given that it isn't pouring or anything.  Rain adds a suddle glisen to the sidewalks

Friday I met Brianna and Michael at Lindsay Gardens in Salt Lake City to shoot some fun engagement pictures. I was pretty excited when Brianna told me that's where she wanted to go given that I have been dying to do an engagement on the merri-go-round for so long! I am just in love with the uniqueness of it! Life is a blur, but love is clear in the moment. With the little touch of sun as well it made for quite the passionate little shot.



We also had fun climbing up a tree there. That is always an adventure. I was so sad to see that they had to cut down the large branch off the old tree at Wheeler Farm which was perfect for this sort of thing. Anyway... life goes on and now I cherish the photos I had taken in that tree a little more! Anyway, a little boy started to climb and we convinced him to instead make silly faces at the two lovebirds for a few minutes instead. Turns out his dad is a photographer too and he had all the moves!

Kristy and Ian got married on Thursday at the Salt Lake City Temple and had a ring ceremony and reception afterward on the top floor of Zions bank. The weather stayed nice for us and even made it up to 60 degrees and melted all the snow! It was a lovely event:)







Kristy informed me that she had been learned to use the word "no" when needed with Ian ... I let him have a few shots with the sunglasses just for kicks.





Kristy's wedding decor involved blues and purples which I loved since you really don't see a lot of. She had blue stem dyed roses and vibrant assortments on each table.

The beautiful blues of the evening complemented the music, atmosphere and even the color theme.









Ian's daughter Paisley caught to bouquet and everyone's general reaction was "NO NO NO, she's too young!"



The evening ended with an elegant get away in an ivory Rolls Royce...

Friday I got to go up to the Hill Air Force Base and take pictures of these adorable Flint children. It is always a fun adventure shooting pictures of kids. One of the nice things about doing at home sessions is that the children are already in an environment they are comfortable in and when it isn't their turn they can take a break and get their wiggles out elsewhere in the house!

Cute little Natalie is starting to learn how to sit up on her own though she still has a way to go! Mom's help is always needed to be right out of the frame to catch their little wigglers:) Here a just a few of my favs!
